Privacy Policy

When you purchase or redeem a balloon tour voucher you become legally bound by these terms and conditions. Please do not proceed and purchase or redeem a voucher until you have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions. When you ask for your balloon tour reservation to be confirmed, you are accepting that these terms and conditions form the basis of any contract between Slyway Travel Company and yourself.

Confirmation and e-ticket/voucher
As soon as you complete your booking you will receive a confirmation voucher to your e-mail.
After your booking we will send you another e-mail confirming pick up time and place.
It is the customer’s responsibility to print the e-ticket/voucher and present it on the date of the tour.

There is no need to reconfirm your balloon tour once you received a written confirmation. Please contact us only if there is a change of your hotel or tour date.
One of our representatives will inform your hotel night before the flight if there is a change of pick up time.

Refunds and flight cancellations
Hot air ballooning is heavily reliant upon the weather and especially the speed of the wind. Only the pilot and Directorate General of Civil Aviation have authority to decide whether a flight goes ahead. We reserve the right to cancel a flight due to unsuitable weather conditions at any time up to the moment of take-off.
If the flight is cancelled, you can either reschedule for another day or receive a full refund.
In order to receive full refund the balloon tour must be canceled by the balloon operator.

If you cancel your booking
The cancellation fee policy will take effect once you submit your reservation. If your purchase cannot be confirmed for any reason, we will fully refund your purchase without any additional charges.
Please note that cancellation fees below are calculated based on the date we receive your Cancellation Request e-mail and tour date.

Cancellations of individual bookings (1 to 5 people) must be made at least 48 hours before the flight time. Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before for small groups of 6 to 14 people and at least 1 week before the tour date for groups bigger than 14 people.

All cancellations must be made directly with, not with service providers.
For refunds processed by wire transfer, any associated wire transfer fee will be deducted from the overall refund amount.
We will process your cancellation/refund request within 1 to 5 days.

pick-up time, departure time & location
it is customer's responsibility to ensure that everyone in the customer's party is in the correct pick up location at the correct time. (we recommend that you be ready 10 minutes before pick-up time). customer's e-ticket/e-voucher will provide the information you need regarding the pick-up time and location or departure point. please read the tour reservation receipt and the e-ticket clearly to ensure you have entered the correct date you wish to conduct the tour. there may be no changes or refunds, so it is customer's responsibility to ensure that the correct date and time are shown.

Balloon tour prices are all in Euros.
50% of the total cost is required as a deposit payment and the rest can be paid in cash on the tour day or in advance by credit card or via paypal.
There will be no additional fee or commission if you pay with your credit card.
All our prices unless otherwise mentioned are valid for the season and are per person, include VAT and insurance.

We will not fly children under the age of 5 years or shorter than 110 cm. A child under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult. It is your responsibility to inform us of the age of the child passenger.
